Andrew Mancilla possesses unparalleled passion as an advocate and is experienced in both state and federal courts. A meticulous writer, skilled negotiator, and natural performer, Mancilla has handled dozens of high-profile complex criminal and civil cases. From representing celebrities alongside eminent criminal defense attorneys Ronald Fischetti and Eric Franz, to alleged members of organized crime, Mancilla exhibits a tenacious style and keen ability to tailor a legal strategy to each individual client and obtain excellent results.
Andrew first broke into the criminal defense practice as a student at Brooklyn Law School, when he was hired by Tim Parlatore to assist in the defense of a soldier who had been convicted of war crimes. Upon graduation, Andrew worked full-time as an associate for the Law Offices of Eric Franz, PLLC, where he gained experience handling dozens of state and federal cases. Eric Franz, a well-known criminal defense attorney in New York City and professor of law at Seton Hall Law School, mentored Andrew and provided him the tools necessary to dissect a case, pinpoint the weaknesses, and negotiate the best possible outcome.
While in this position, Andrew also had the unique opportunity to learn from one of New York's most highly regarded criminal defense attorneys, Ronald P. Fischetti, who retained Mr. Franz's firm to assist him with several large-scale cases. This, combined with the fact that they were located in Mr. Fischetti's office suite, afforded Andrew the incomparable experience of being personally mentored by Mr. Fischetti. Andrew assisted Fischetti and Franz in trying multiple cases in both federal and state court, the majority of which ended in acquittals for their clients. As a result of working with Fischetti and Franz, Andrew exhibits experience beyond his years.
Andrew's background in performing, along with his passionate and aggressive style, distinguish him as uniquely fit for the courtroom. His energy as an attorney is apparent in every aspect of his practice, from intake to resolution. He possesses both the intellectual and creative rigor that enables him to excel in today's shifting legal landscape and he is dedicated to providing the best legal representation to each one of his clients, no matter the issue with which they are confronted.
